Chuwi Vi8 Super Edition released – First dual OS tablet with live switching between Android 4.4 and Windows 8.1

Lots of Intel powered tablets have been released this year, running either Android OS or Windows 8.1, only very few of them could dual-boot both OS. Even those tablets which do support dual-booting normally require people to shutdown from one operating system before switching to the other. Fortunately, the newly released Chuwi Vi8 Super Edition makes switching between two systems much easier for its users.

According to Chuwi, the Vi8 Super Edition tablet only requires users one touch on the screen to switch from Android 4.4 to Windows 8.1, or the other way around. Which is a huge step forward from some of the RAMOS dual-booting tablets released earlier this year, which requires users to shut the tablet down and then boot into another OS.
