Chuwi Vi8 Plus Unboxing: Windows 10 Tablet With Price Below $100

I’ve played with the Chuwi Vi8 tablet for a bit last year and that was the dual boot version of the slate. Now the upgraded Chuwi Vi8 Plus is here, with Windows 10 in tow and it gets unboxed below. When we got it, it was priced at $90, but you can find out the current price atGearBest.com.

This model comes in a box, that looks a lot like the one Amazon uses for its Kindle Fire products. Inside we find the charger, USB cable, warranty and manuals. The product has an 8 inch 1280 x 800 pixel display, plus an Intel Atom X5-Z8300 processor. It’s a quad core unit clocked at 1.84 GHz and it also comes with Intel HD Graphics Gen 8.

Chuwi Vi8 Plus brings 2 GB of RAM, 32 GB of storage and a microSD card slot, as well as Bluetooth 4.0, HDMI 1.4 and WiFi. It has an USB Type C port and a 2 MP back shooter and also a front camera with the same res. The battery has a 4000 mAh capacity and on paper provides 3 hours of video playback. The Chuwi slate measures 9.3 mm in thickness, weighs 350 grams and it has a plastic case, with metal frame.

The Chuwi Vi8 plus 8 inch Windows 10 Tablet PC Review The Chuwi Vi8 plus 8 inch Windows 10 Tablet PC  is a nice looking tablet. It has a 64-bit Intel X5 Atom Cherry Trail Z8300 CPU with 1.84GHz processing power. It has 2GB DDR3L SDRAM memory and a 32G eMMC ROM and a USB type-C port. It has a 32GB SSD hard drive and a 64Gb micro SD card slot. The tablet has a nice look and feel. It has a hatched hard plastic casing with stainless steel edges and buttons.
